Autumn Increase in Paris’ Output of Arts Events
As one of the most famous and regularly visited cities in the world, Paris is never lacking in events to offer its guests. The colder weather of November sees the French capital hosting a number of arts and music events of the highest calibre, and below are the pick of the best.
With cheap flights to Paris now in regular supply due to the time of year, it will most definitely be worth your while to look in to securing a trip.
Two Events in the Frame this Winter
Throughout November, Paris Photo will be held in the French capital. Having been founded in 1997, the international fair has amassed a reputation as one of the best photography events on the yearly calendar, and with just reason.
The fair brings together 19th century, modern and contemporary photography to create one of Paris’s best arts events. Held in the heart of the city at the Carrousel du Louvre, Paris Photo will feature over 100 exhibitors across 87 galleries this year, with contributions from photographers from 12 different countries.
Until the end of the month, the Orchestres en Fete will be on in the French capital. The classical music festival is held nationwide each year, but Paris represents the best of what it has to offer, with a host of different performances across some of the city’s best venues. Classics and more contemporary pieces make up the festival’s programme this year.
